| All Things Painted is a studio space in which Christy Buchanan creates one of a kind painted finishes on walls, furniture, floorcloths, canvases and more. At her studio you will find many samples of her work that are for sale. Some are primed waiting for your colors while others are completed and ready for that perfect spot in your home. In the past you have seen her at many juried fine are shows, but now she is setting up her new studio at the historic granite 1940 structure known as the Greenbrier School. While she will still be attending a few art shows, her best creative efforts will be showcased at the school where she will have her studio space, displays, and four art gala's a year. The old granite walls become alive with Christy's colors and her works of art. It truly is a magical experience that she shares with others. Her art has also been featured in the Fall issue of 100 Decorating Ideas under $100 as well as Columbia Metropolitan Magazine. She has won best of show in the Florence Craftsman Christmas show and Art in the Heart of Augusta. In addition her work is will be featured in the movie, Saving Maggie , and she also has been interviewed by Southern Living magazine. Her floorcloths are in homes from Canada down to the Bahamas! In addition, Christy does custom work to include faux finishes, floorcloths, furniture, and other specialty pieces. She will take on one of your "neglected" pieces that you have around the house and transform it into a work of art that you will be treasured for years to come!
